Australian Government: Digital Health Agency — My Health Record
The Australian Digital Health Agency is a corporate Commonwealth entity established by the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability. The role of digital innovation and connection is a vital part of a modern, accessible healthcare system designed to meet the needs of all Australians.
The Challenge
Designed to improve health care for Australians, uptake by health professionals of a nation-wide digital system was not proceeding at the volume required to sustain validity. Uptake of the system became more important as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold.
The Solution
Analysis determined training should aim to increase confidence in the security of the system and to ease on-the-job utilisation.
We designed a program with specific streams for each professional cohort. User acceptance was increased with delivery of an eLearning stream incorporating system simulations and decision-based branching scenarios to complement ‘software-specific’ video bites and job-aids.
