G8 Education is one of Australia’s largest providers of quality early childhood education and care. With more than 430 early learning centres across 21 quality early learning brands.
With over 11,000 employees and 430 early childcare centres, G8 Education needed to upgrade the capacity of their digital HR systems to maintain outstanding care for children, their families, and staff.
The challenge was to roll out change management training prior to launch for this highly complex system in a staggered state-by-state approach, across multiple cohorts and qualification levels. A pilot program had been rolled out to a select group that needed evaluation and augmentation to ensure team members could confidently navigate the system at launch.
We analysed skill and application gaps, evaluated feedback and help requests from the pilot group, and collaborated with experts from the various cohorts.
Now G8 has an easily accessible learning program and on-demand learning library, with learner guides, system simulations with watch/try/implement modes, decision-based case scenarios and opportunities to test out their new skills. The program is also utilised in employee onboarding.
